Caro once said in an interview, ‘Jo’s language is wood’: I am a 3rd generation craftsman. My grandfather worked for De Havilland making Mosquito aircraft in WW2, my father is a cabinetmaker. I have utilised my skills and a particular specialism for bending wood to fabricate sculptures for Anthony Caro, Cathy de Monchaux, Lise Autogena and Joshua Portway, Alison Wilding and Susannah Oliver.
I have very solid skills working in the public domain, making large sculptures for exhibitions and permanent installations.
