Just a little bit about me. I graduated from Winchester School of Art with a First in sculpture in 1994, and though I haven’t made sculpture full-time, it’s been part of what I do ever since. In my London days after graduation, I was fortunate to be included in the Whitechapel Open and to have a solo exhibition at the House Gallery in Camberwell, as well as working as an assistant to Anthony Caro. Since moving to Somerset I have been involved with sculpture projects for Caro, including fabricating huge Oak tower sculptures, now permanently on show in the Choir de la Lumiere, Bourbourg, France. I have also exhibited in Somerset Art Weeks and made sculpture for commission.
I am interested in edges, forms and spaces. In the lines which divide and enclose us: surfaces which entice, elevations which deny, openings to catch a glimpse or frame a new way to see a slice of the view beyond. I really want you to look.
